Rerun is a free daily word puzzle. Every day there is one hidden word from the culture of another time—Season 01 is set in the Y2K era, so answers come from the late-’90s and 2000s technology, music, movies, toys, slang, brands, and everyday life you remember.

How to play

• Guess the word in six tries. The category gives you an extra clue.
• ◆ Right letter, right spot — locked in.
• ● Right letter, wrong spot — it’s in the word somewhere else.
• Gray tile — that letter isn’t in the word.
• Most answers are five letters, but some days the word is four or six.
